ALV

IT'S YOUR CHOICE

ALV – The compact Welding Laser for Small Components

The ALV is an extremely compact laser welding system that fits into even the smallest workshop.
Yet it still has it all: laser, movement system, extraction, laser safety.

Thanks to the enclosed laser-proof housing, the device can be used in normal production environments without additional safety tools.
In just a few steps, the ALV can be converted to an open laser system for processing larger or longer components.

The ALV welding laser offers wide-opening doors so that larger workpieces can be loaded easily.

Upward-opening wing doors with a side slot can be ordered for sensor applications. This helps for easy positioning of long tubes. An optional fine welding function reduces the spot diameter to 0.1 mm.

We have placed great value on ergonomics. Work focused for hours, as the ergonomically optimized
housing facilitates relaxed arm and neck postures and leaves plenty of legroom to sit comfortably.

Welding of small parts, small series, micro welding, manufacture of surgical instruments, casting repair: these are just a few of the possible applications.

Your benefits at a glance

  • Closed laser welding system that can be quickly retooled into an open system.
  • Precision joystick
  • All-in-one system (table, laser, extraction, safety)
  • Easy to use via intuitive touch screen
  • Ergonomic thanks to optimized housing
  • Different door variants can be selected

More Information About the ALV

The laser welding device offers a large vertical movement range and wide opening doors. This facilitates easy loading.

For sensor applications, upward-opening wing doors with side slits can be ordered for easy placement of long tubes. A fine welding function reduces the spot diameter down to 0.1 mm.

The vertical Z-axis lifts workpieces up to 50 kg. An optional rotating axis for turning the component is available.

All axes directly follow the joystick movement, either

  • manually by joystick,
  • semi-automatically,
  • or in automatic mode with the WINLaserNC software (optional)

The laser and movement system can be conveniently and intuitively operated via the touch screen.

The ALV is available with an Nd:YAG laser or a fiber source. Laser powers of 120 – 300 W are available

Technical accessories

ALFT-HDMI camera system

For displaying the welding process on an external monitor The camera system is specially made for ALPHA LASER systems and is mounted below the laser's microscope attachment. Includes power supply, HDMI cable, and laser connection cable. HDMI recorder for recording not included in scope of delivery.

Ergo wedge 5°-25°

Enables tilting of the binocular for ergonomic working.

Halogen bulb (flexible)

Magnetic holding sphere

for quick and easy placement of the workpiece. The slip-stick effect between the ball and the socket guarantees a secure hold of the workpiece in any position.

Rotary axis module

For welding cylindrical parts Tiltable for horizontal to vertical rotational movement. With chuck Ø 125 mm and inside diameter 24 mm

Switchable micro welding function

The switchable micro welding function reduces the welding spot diameter to very fine <0.1 mm.

Turn and tilt objective

Our tilting objective significantly eases work in difficult workpiece positions. In the objective's full 360° rotational range, the beam can be directed continuously up to 40° from the vertical. Moving the workpiece is not required. The beam can be conveniently directed towards difficult to access locations while maintaining an ergonomic work posture. With focusing objective f = 150, LED ring light and protection glass
